Heronwood is located on the same side of the river as Inverness Castle. It is located on the RIGHT hand side of the road coming out of the city on the B862 (Dores Road). If you follow the main road towards the suspension bridge and continue for a mile you will arrive at a series of houses on the right hand side, the first of which is Heronwood B&B. Look out for the sign at the roadside.

There is also a new daily bus service running every 30 minutes going to and from Inverness Airport which passes the house. It is the number 11 called JET and is headed 'Holm Park via City Centre. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
